Burn Moome

Exchanging Moome tokens back to collateral is a straightforward process that aligns with its liquid staking functionality. You initiate a burn transaction to destroy the Moome tokens you hold. This step signals the system that you want to redeem your collateral. The system calculates the amount of staked collateral you’re entitled to, based on the proportion of Moome tokens being burned relative to the total Moome in circulation. The corresponding portion of the total staked collateral and Sui is released from the pool and transferred back to your wallet instantly.

When Moome tokens are burned, they are moved to the Burning Pool, a one-way destination. Over the course of a week, these tokens gradually burning, permanently reducing the total Moome in circulation. This mechanism ensures a controlled and gradual impact on the supply dynamics while maintaining transparency in the process.
